Who We Are
Hi, I'm Paddy - founder of The Scouting Party.
I relocated to Flagstaff in 2019 after stops in Park City, London, Boston, New York, and back to Boston. Coming back out west invigorated my spirit, but moving for the umpteenth time had me realize something: In all my years of moving there was never a guide I could turn to, someone to show me the city and the communities that exist I could be a part of. I was always going it alone or relying on work friends, and by the time I felt at home it was time to move again.
One thing for sure: Google, Zillow, and Facebook surfing don't tell you what a neighborhood Feels like. You can't Experience a coffee shop, or Taste the local pizza. You can't Shake Hands with Bike/Hike or Run Group Leaders or Hear the story behind a Ceramics Teacher's Shop.
That's why I created The Scouting Party - a guided relocation experience that shows you the real Flagstaff, introduces you to different communities, and helps you feel confident about your move.
Because moving isn't about finding a house. It's about finding where you belong.
